The Perfect world (Sr.Si teanh by Ms.Sue)

Long ago, I heard about a perfect Thailand. There would be many fish in the water, and much rice in the field. It was implied to all Thai people that everyone would be rich. Nobody would starve. Every place would be safe. No thieves or selfishness or anything bad.
But Thai society has changed. There are many unemployed people who have no money, food or home. They are not happy. I wish it was like before but it is not.

So, I think if you want a Perfect World, you can find it in religion. Today, I would like to share my perfect world in the kingdom of God. The human world is not final. People must pass over this world in order to raise up, as Jesus Christ did, to the life of God. It is important they follow closely to Jesus Christ, follow his teachings of love, kindness, forgiveness, etc. Sacrifice is the best kind of love. Even if people are poor, they must trust in God and let Him take control.
In God’s kingdom, everyone will be pleased and see God forever. Nobody needs to eat, nobody will starve. Everybody is an angel of God.

Now, I would like to tell about the world of Jonas. Jonas’s world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the Community. Jonas’s society is controlled with rules. Everybody has responsibilities to follow the instructions. If they fail to do so, they are released Everybody must strong and normal. Babies that are born abnormal will also be released. Also, each family can only have two children.
I would like to begin with, the advantages of a controlled society. It is an easy thing to be a follower. Jonas’s society makes a person have no ideas and no plan for their life. But there is no prejudice, and there is very little competition. Everyone is always polite. They don’t worry about anything. When they are too old, they can spend their last years being cared for in the House of the Old until they are finally released from the society.

On the other hand, utopic society also has disadvantages. Everybody loses their freedom to think and to do something they want. They look like robost more than human being. There is no feeling, no mind, no being proud in themselves. It is the most important thing, I wonder, “Can they got real happy?” Because they are controlled, they have do not have any freedom or even feel love.

This world may become closer to being a perfect world if everybody can make something good with love and with their freedom, and with a person’s ability.
